1 · Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CLAi waitlist, beta programme, and fashion intelligence chatbot (together, the “Service”) provided by The Closet App LTD (“CLAi”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16742543).

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

2 · Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under this age, you must not use the Service.

The Service is currently available in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. If you access the Service from a jurisdiction not listed, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

3 · The Service

CLAi provides AI-powered fashion and styling information and guidance (the “Service”). The Service is currently in an early access / beta phase and is provided for general informational and personal use only.

The Service is under active development. Features may change, be added, suspended, or withdrawn at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

4 · Nature of CLAi's Guidance - Important

CLAi's responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They are intended to provide general fashion and styling information and inspiration only.

CLAi's suggestions:

  • are not professional advice of any kind (including styling, financial, medical, or other regulated advice);
  • may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date;
  • are based on information you provide and the AI's interpretation of it; and
  • should be treated as a starting point for your own decisions, not as a definitive answer.

You are solely responsible for any decision you make based on CLAi's suggestions. CLAi does not guarantee any particular outcome, result, or satisfaction from following its guidance.

5 · Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, offensive, or deceptive;
  • upload photographs or images of another person without their express permission;
  • use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm any person;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its underlying technology;
  • use the Service to build a product or service that competes with CLAi;
  • use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our permission;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or
  • use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who breaches these rules.

6 · Your Content

You retain ownership of any content — including text messages and photographs — that you submit to the Service (“Your Content”).

By submitting Your Content, you grant CLAi a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, process, and store Your Content for the purposes of operating and improving the Service.

You confirm that: (a) you own or have the right to submit Your Content; (b) Your Content does not infringe the rights of any third party; and (c) you have obtained any necessary consents for content featuring other individuals.

We may remove any content that we reasonably consider to be in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

7 · CLAi's Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, content, and all CLAi outputs belongs to CLAi or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.

CLAi's name, logo, and the name "The Closet App" are trademarks of The Closet App LTD. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them.

8 · Beta Service - Additional Terms

The Service is currently provided as an early access / beta product. By using it, you acknowledge that:

  • the Service is not a finished product and may contain errors, bugs, or incomplete features;
  • we may make changes to or withdraw the Service at any time without notice;
  • we may contact you to request feedback on your experience;
  • your feedback may be used to improve the Service (see our Privacy Policy and Feedback Notice); and
  • the beta is provided "as is', with no guarantees of availability, accuracy, or performance.

9 · Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • the Service is provided on an "as available" basis during the beta phase;
  • we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be achieved from its use;
  • CLAi's suggestions are for informational purposes only. We are not liable for any decision you make in reliance on them; and
  • our total liability to you under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed £50

10 · Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites and your use of them is at your own risk.

11 · Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including if: (a) you breach these Terms; (b) we reasonably suspect misuse; or (c) we decide to discontinue the beta or the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To request deletion of your data, contact info@theclai.co.

12 · Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, provided that nothing in this clause shall limit CLAi’s right to bring proceedings against you in the courts of your country of residence or domicile.

13 · General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remainder shall continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and CLAi in relation to the Service and supersede all prior representations or agreements.
